INVENTORY SPECIALIST

BNA, a leading supplier of tube and hose assemblies for the heavy truck, agriculture, and construction industries, is seeking anInventory Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and maintain inventory accuracy for all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Inspect materials for damage and report quality concerns.
  • Generate inventory reports and maintain accurate system records.
  • Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes.
  • Work closely with production, shipping, purchasing, and management teams.
  • Maintain organized inventory storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of inventory control experience required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience preferred.
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time position working 40+ hours per week.
  • Employees must be available to work overtime as needed to support business demands. All overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
