Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Cartersville, GA

Type of Employment: Fulltime

Schedule: Monday through Thursday (8am to 5pm) & Friday (8am to 4pm)

Compensation: Starting at 16/hr (pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Cartersville, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

  • Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
  • Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone

  • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
  • 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

  • 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
