Familiarity with medical equipment, electronic health records (EHRs), and routine administrative systems is typically required. Staying organized and calm under pressure is important, as is being flexible when responding to the needs of both patients and colleagues. Over time, many Medical Helpers develop strong teamwork and time management skills that can open up further opportunities in healthcare.
