Surgical Specialist

About the Role:

As a key member of the Urology team, the Surgical Specialist will a positive customer experience by partnering with the Operating Room based Sales team to maximize revenue growth and achieve sales goals within the assigned territory. The Surgical Specialist will lead sales activities within a pre-determined subset of identified accounts within the territory as well as oversee existing accounts through a consistent presence in the Operating Room to support all staff with proficient guidance pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively.

  • Drive Sales Growth: Execute team sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve annual sales goals.
  • Product Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Urology product portfolio and broader Laborie product line to effectively support customers.
  • Territory Management: Develop skills in business planning, pipeline management, CRM reporting, and overall territory responsibilities.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain professional relationships, present value propositions, and deliver tailored solutions to increase account penetration.
  • Post-Sales Support & Reporting: Conduct follow-up visits for product functionality and training, prepare status reports, and communicate new opportunities or feedback to internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in lieu of a bachelor's degree, additional years of directly related experience will be accepted.
  • 1-2 years of Operating Room experience, preferably within medical device with a minimum of 12 months of OR experience.
  • Clinical background, especially within the field of Urology preferred.
  • Strong Operating Room knowledge coupled with materials. management/procurement procedural requirements .
  • Certification and credentialed to access all applicable accounts within the assigned geography .
  • Strong problem-solving skills, results orientated approach, and demonstrated teamwork with colleagues in group settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of time management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
