Job Description

Responsibilities / Job Description:

  • Develop requirements for HIL/SIL/pHIL hardware and interfaces.
  • Manage HIL/SIL/pHIL system development.
  • Design test and measurement equipment and software.
  • Develop test specification based on requirement specification and design.
  • Develop test cases to verify test specification.
  • Execution of test cases.
  • Generation of test reports.
  • Adapt existing hardware interfaces to test systems.
  • Adjust / Improve test systems for new and roadmap products.
  • Define, Develop, and Test HMI systems for the embedded camera systems including datalogging equipment, re-injection equipment, and test and qualification equipment.
  • Suggest improvements and changes for improved product quality by adjusting or adding requirements with the systems engineer and system architect.

Skills

  • Knowledge/use of Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow/dSPACE.
  • Knowledge of review and test methods.
  • Capability to troubleshoot tester/product issues.
  • Capability concerning the formal system verification of a component - based control software.
  • Work closely with System Engineer and System Architect to define, develop and improve requirements.
  • Capability to communicate with and understand the needs of internal/external clients.
  • Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
  • Highly motivated and disciplined in time management.
  • Able to contribute to strong and dependable teams.
  • Possesses excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
  • 5+ years of Automotive microprocessor embedded system testing experience.
  • Knowledge/use of laboratory tools for performing product analysis and testing.
  • Knowledge/use of CMMI or Automotive SPICE process.
  • Knowledge/use of requirement and configuration management tools/process.
