We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Manager to build, lead, and scale our quality assurance function. In this role, you will oversee a team of QA Engineers and Analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable fintech products. You will define testing strategies, improve processes, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and analysts, including performance reviews, career development, and day-to-day support.
  • Define and execute the QA strategy across manual and automated testing, aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices (test planning, test case design, defect management, reporting).
  • Oversee test execution for web, mobile, and API-based applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Drive test automation initiatives, including frameworkselection, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate QA into the development lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Ensure compliance with fintech-specific standards such as security, data privacy, and audit readiness (e.g., SOC 2).
  • Monitor quality metrics (defect rates, test coverage, release readiness) andreport onproduct quality to leadership.
  • Managereleasequality gates and sign-off processes.
  • Identifyrisks early and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Programming/scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar).

Compensation Range

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,200 - $166,700 annually.

Physical Requirements
