Job description

IQVIA MedTech is seeking Mechanical Field Service Engineers to support a nationwide medical device project involving dialysis equipment at healthcare facilities across the U.S.

In this field-based role, you will complete hands-on service work, including hydraulic assembly replacement, rinse and flush activities, testing, calibration, and documentation.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled service professional who enjoys travel, independent field work, and supporting important healthcare technology.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to customer sites to replace hydraulic assemblies on dialysis machines.
  • Complete required rinse, flush, testing, calibration, and service documentation.
  • Coordinate with field leadership, schedulers, customer contacts, and clinic staff.
  • Follow safety, quality, and compliance requirements in active healthcare environments.
  • Support material handling, staging, and movement of 40-50 lb assemblies using available equipment.

What We're Looking For

  • Mid-level BMET, Field Service Engineer, or similar mechanical/biomedical equipment service experience.
  • Hands-on experience with medical, dialysis, capital, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate service documentation skills.
  • Professional communication skills with customers, clinic teams, and internal partners.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work evenings, weekends, or after hours as needed.
  • Valid driver license and ability to meet healthcare facility access requirements.

Preferred Experience

  • Dialysis equipment service experience.
  • Medical device field service, corrective action, recall, or field action deployment experience.
  • Experience working in clinical, dialysis center, hospital, or outpatient care environments.
  • Comfort using digital service documentation tools and Microsoft Office.

Schedule and Travel

  • Field-based role with extensive regional and potential nationwide travel.
  • Must live within approximately one hour of a major airport.
  • Evening and weekend work may be required based on clinic availability.
