The Hybrid Coding Services Manager oversees the daily operations and delivery of physician office and professional fee coding services, ensuring adherence to established coding guidelines and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on accurate and compliant professional services coding, coordinating coding efforts, and supporting strategic priorities within the unit. The manager also participates in audit projects and educates the coding team based on audit outcomes, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and specialized coding audit software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily coding operations for physician office and professional fee services
  • Ensure accurate and compliant coding in accordance with regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Coordinate professional services coding efforts among team members
  • Monitor compliance and quality assurance through regular audits
  • Participate in audit projects and analyze findings to inform improvements
  • Provide education and training to coding staff based on audit results
  • Support and actively contribute to strategic planning for unit operations
