Job description

Busy practice is looking for a Medical Assistant for our multi-physician office. Medical office experience is required. Work responsibilities include both clinical and clerical duties. Candidates must be reliable, have a professional demeanor with a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment. Clinical duties may include taking and recording of medical histories, preparing patients for examination, resolving patient issues, assisting with procedures, and medication preparation as directed by the physician.

Looking for bilingual in Russian, Spanish or Polish.

Must be comfortable with computer systems and learning relevant software systems

Experience with Electronic Health Records and working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding helpful

Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology principles

Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and efficient

Must have excellent communication /customer service skills

Other job duties as assigned.
