Barbaricum is seeking an System Administrator IV to directly support the anticipated Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Model Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) opportunity. Code MXM's mission is mission engineering analysis and assessment of complex Naval, DoD, and joint kill chains - with a specialized focus on Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) enabled analysis. As a System Administrator IV, you will build and sustain the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environments that anchor Code MXM's EMSO modeling and simulation. Working with the LVC team and LVC Lead, you will establish and maintain a Naval Integrated Fire Control - Electronic Warfare (NIFC-EW) node, plan and execute distributed and non-distributed LVC events, and integrate constructive engines and simulators into a unified system. You will be a member of the Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) and maintain the qualifications required to operate in classified simulation environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Establish and maintain a NIFC-EW node in accordance with MIL-HDBK-539, in conjunction with the LVC team. * Plan and execute distributed and non-distributed LVC events, including scripting/code to unify disparate M&S systems. * Integrate constructive engines and simulators - NCTE, NGTS, JSAF, and AFSIM - and Naval Spectrum Dependent Systems databases via the Real Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO) tool. * Support Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) applications and enable interaction across M&S applications. * Integrate Numerical Weather Prediction data fusion and evaluate/integrate ONR-provided TRL-6+ tools (e.g., TruView) into the LVC to model the Electromagnetic Operational Environment. * Analyze EW gaps, develop requirements for present/future LVC environments, and support EW Fusion tools, Link messages, and combat-system interfaces (AEGIS, SSDS). * Perform site visits and planning meetings at NSWC Crane and remote sites (Patuxent River, MD; Pt. Mugu, CA; Huntsville, AL; NSWC Dahlgren, VA; Washington, D.C.). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Active DoD SECRET clearance (minimum); U.S. citizenship required. * Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution. * 10+ years of systems administration experience. * Current member of the Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) per DoDD 8140.01 / DoDM 8140.03, with qualifications maintained. * Experience with LVC events and integration of various constructive engines and simulators. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred). * Master's or Doctorate degree. * Hands-on experience with NGTS, JSAF, AFSIM, or NCTE integration. * Experience with HWIL, sensor fusion (e.g., NCCT), and EMOE modeling. * Prior Navy/DoD M&S or EMSO range experience.
