We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to support a busy healthcare team in Sandy, Utah. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing billing tasks, maintaining accurate patient and insurance records, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to daily revenue cycle operations while helping ensure claims and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
• Review patient billing information and prepare accurate insurance claims for submission to carriers.
• Enter and update high volumes of billing, payment, and patient data while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Track claim status, follow up on unpaid balances, and support collection efforts to improve reimbursement timelines.
• Resolve billing discrepancies by researching account details and coordinating with internal teams or insurance representatives.
• Maintain electronic medical record and billing documentation to support complete and accurate account records.
