Their duties often include taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, assisting with medical procedures, and helping patients with daily activities. Medical Assistant PCAs play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare facilities run smoothly and that patients receive timely, compassionate care. They typically work in hospitals, clinics, and other medical settings under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
