SUMMARY: CorMedical is a medical management firm that develops and operates on-site primary care clinics for employers. CorMedical is changing the way employers provide comprehensive medical care for their employees making it more convenient and affordable for employees and employers alike. CorMedical believes that our on-site clinics can offer a real opportunity for employers to control health benefit plan costs while at the same time working to improve employee health and productivity. CorMedical is accepting applications for a full time Medical Assistant for an employer on-site primary care clinic. We provide care to employees and their spouses/dependents 18 years and older. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8a-5p. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k with a company match. 


SUMMARY:


• Assists nurse practitioner with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. 

• Obtains medical history and vital signs 

• Administers medication/injections 

• Administer EKG, phlebotomy, urinalysis, testing, etc. 

• Rotate through both front and back office 

• Front office duties include scheduling, checking in/out patients, insurance verification, collection of copays, answering phones, etc. 

• Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. 

• Conveys a positive image of the clinic. 
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:


 • High school degree or equivalent required. 

• 1 year of primary care office or urgent care setting preferred. 

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 

• Front office experience preferred but not required 
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required
