Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. This in-person position involves a mix of clinical and laboratory responsibilities, working closely with our providers to ensure seamless patient care.

If you are detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident in performing blood draws and assisting with patient treatments, this could be the perfect role for you!


Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, obtain vitals, and verify medical history and medications.
  • Assist providers with hormone pellet procedures, IV therapy, and other in-clinic treatments.
  • Prepare exam rooms, maintain sterile fields, and ensure proper turnover between patients.
  • Administer intramuscular (IM) injections.
  • Perform venipuncture with confidence and efficiency.
  • Label, prepare, and process specimens for laboratory testing and transport.
  • Follow strict protocols for specimen handling, storage, and transport.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Support patient communication and education based on provider instructions.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Current BLS or CPR Certification.
  • Experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
  • Experience with IM injections.
  • Experience performing IV starts and administering IV therapy
