Job description

Our Medical Assistant I plays a vital role in supporting both front and back office operations within the clinic. This individual delivers safe, compassionate, and professional patient care under the direction of a provider and/or nurse, while working within their scope of practice. The Medical Assistant ensures a smooth patient experience by maintaining clinical excellence and supporting administrative functions.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday

What You'll Do:

- Room patients and assist provider as needed.

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures, always keeping room neat and clean

- Daily, weekly, and monthly exam room cleaning, inventorying, and equipment checks.

- Assist with scanning paperwork and uploading pictures into the EMR, scribing for provider

- Record new patients’ medical history, medications, allergies, and pertinent information in the EMR

- Reinforce doctors’ instructions regarding procedures and results

Skills and Experience:

- Certified as a Medical Assistant is preferred

- Scribe and/or Dermatology experience preferred
