Location: Easthampton Behavioral Health Clinic (Easthampton, MA)
Pay Range: $27.00/hr.
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site (40 hours/week)

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a dynamic, passionate Medical Assistant to join our team at the Easthampton Behavioral Health Clinic. We offer a 40-hour weekly schedule. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm.
Your Role: At the Heart of Client Care
As an integral part of our care team, you will blend clinical expertise with genuine human connection. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Clinical Excellence: Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy/blood draws with confidence, specimen collection, preforming EKG's and preparing lab requests.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborating with client support networks, coordinating with local pharmacies, and actively partnering with community agencies to streamline client treatment.
  • Practice Support: Managing provider schedules, visit prep, handling prior authorizations (PAs), submitting referrals, and navigating our Electronic Health Records (EHR) for chart reviews and telehealth.

What You Need to Bring (Requirements):
Certification: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/clinical practice.
Skills: Comfort and proficiency with phlebotomy/blood draws are required.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating EHR systems.
Preferred: Experience with Prior Authorizations, Medication Administration (MAP) Certification, and active CPR/First Aid Certifications. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply!
