As a medical assistant instructor, your job is to teach students how to perform the various duties expected of medical assistants. To accomplish this, you may demonstrate techniques to your classes, decide what material to include in each lecture, and decide when to give students hands-on experience with equipment and techniques in the school labs. Medical assistant instructors also explain topics like what medical assistants are allowed to do and what requires a nurse or another experienced health care provider.
