Job description

Position Description: Delta College of Arts and Technology is seeking a motivated and highly student-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant Instructor for our Lafayette Campus. This is a full-time, day position.
This could be a terrific opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with our students training to become a Medical Assistant. The college offers training for all faculty staff and a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time staff. Requirements:
AOS or higher in Medical Assistant or comparable Healthcare field of study preferred;
Minimum of four (4) years of practical experience, including phlebotomy and EKG;
Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.Additional InformationWeekend and Holidays off. Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, paid time off and more!
