Responsibilities
Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process
Assist with scheduling patient appointments and answering incoming phone calls
Take patient vital signs and draw blood for laboratory testing
Administer vaccines and other clinical procedures as needed
Provide support to the healthcare provider during patient examinations and treatments
Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently
Foster a collaborative relationship with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
Required Skills
Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship
Strong proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Experience in phlebotomy and venipuncture
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively engage with patients
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work well collaboratively within a clinical team
Additional Skills & Requirements
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational health experience preferred
Work hours include Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM with a one-hour lunch, and Fridays from 8 AM to 12 PM
Preference for candidates who are committed to health education and outreach
Flexibility to support a brand new clinic starting operations in July and August 2026
