Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55455
Positions Available: 1
We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join a collaborative care team focused on delivering high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. In this role, the Medical Assistant supports healthcare providers by performing a range of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient visits and workflows. The role requires adherence to organizational policies and procedures, accurate clinical documentation, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Provide delegated care to assigned patients under the supervision of a physician, authorized practitioner, or RN.
Assist in implementing patient care plans and adjust approaches based on patient needs, age, and cultural differences.
Gather, document, and maintain accurate patient information to support clinical visits.
Perform technical procedures such as medication administration, assisting with CPR and medical procedures, and lab draws, as appropriate to the clinical setting.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, ensuring patient needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.
Document all patient care and related activities clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner within the medical record.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations and ensure patient safety at all times.
Support process improvement initiatives, participate in team meetings, and engage in ongoing efforts to enhance patient experience and operational workflows.
Provide patient education tailored to the learning needs of patients and caregivers.
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
