Job description

As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in exams and minor surgical procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under physician supervision
  • Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens for laboratory testing
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
  • Prior experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
