The Medical Assistant will work in an onsite home care setting, directly engaging with patients in their residences. This environment demands flexibility, as you will navigate various home situations while ensuring that patients feel safe, comfortable, and respected. The working hours will typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends or evenings to accommodate special events or emergencies.

• Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling patient appointments, managing and updating electronic health records (EHR), and maintaining detailed medical documentation.
• Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, conducting thorough intake processes to gather medical histories and prepare them for home-based examinations.
• Assist physicians during home visits by providing support in examinations, minor procedures, and ensuring all medical equipment is maintained in a sterile and organized fashion.
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring proper labeling and adherence to medical protocols, streamlining the workflow for accurate results.
• Administer medications, including injections, as per physician instructions, emphasizing patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring, meticulously documenting and interpreting results to aid in patient diagnosis.
• Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and health maintenance, using clear communication to empower them towards better health choices.
• Measure and record vital signs, height, and weight accurately, while ensuring thorough documentation of such measurements to support ongoing patient assessment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sterilizing equipment and managing inventory levels of medical supplies, thereby facilitating uninterrupted medical services.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement tailored patient care plans, ensuring comprehensive treatment that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

The Medical Assistant position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
