Medical Assistant Family Medicine (Med Group Only)

Location: New Berlin, WI 53151 Job Type: Contract Assignment Dates: February 16 May 16, 2026

Schedule
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Shift: 10-hour Day Shift
  • Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
  • Day Off: Wednesdays
  • Weekends: None
  • On Call: None
  • Holidays: None
Clinic Overview

Busy family medicine outpatient clinic with strong team support and a smooth workflow. This is a medical grouponly role (no hospital floating), ideal for an MA who's comfortable with high patient volume and thrives in a structured clinic environment.

Position Responsibilities
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Document accurately in EPIC (required)
  • Administer vaccines per protocol
  • Assist with routine and acute visits
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Maintain exam room flow and cleanliness
  • Support providers during clinic visits
  • Occasionally float to Internal Medicine as needed
Patient Population
  • Newborns to adults (approximately 88% adult population)
  • Routine and acute visits
  • Pediatric vaccinations included (limited)
Required Qualifications
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year clinic experience (travelers accepted)
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Strong EPIC documentation skills
  • Comfortable with vaccines and patient interaction
Clinic Support & Staffing
  • 10 exam rooms
  • 3 Patient Service Representatives (PSRs)
  • 2 Triage Nurses
  • MA Lead (no charge nurse)
  • On-site lab (no phlebotomy required from MA)
Technology & Equipment
  • EMR: EPIC (required)
  • Medication handling including vaccines
  • No IV pumps
Orientation
  • 1 week orientation, extended if needed
Floating
  • May float to Internal Medicine only
