Job description

About JECT

JECT is a medical aesthetics practice specializing in cosmetic injectables, advanced device treatments, and medical-grade skincare. We offer a curated menu of services in a warm, inviting environment where safety and results are our highest priorities. Our mission is to make these services accessible and mainstream — without compromising on the standard of care.

We are Specialized, Personalized, Welcoming, and Collaborative. These aren't poster values — they're how we hire, how we lead, and how every client experiences JECT.

The Role

We are looking for a Medical Assistant who embodies our values and brings our brand mission to life — empowering all people to look and feel their best. You'll be the clinical backbone of the practice: preparing every treatment, keeping records accurate, and making sure providers and clients alike have everything they need, exactly when they need it.

This role rewards precision and composure. You'll juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while staying warm and attentive with every client — because at JECT, safety and experience are never competing priorities.

What You'll OwnPatient Care & Clinical Support
  • Assist with all patient care, including prepping face sheets, medical supplies, and products for the day; charting all patients in the EMR; medical photography; and confirming correct products have been dispensed after use.
  • Ensure all client notes are added to the electronic medical records system.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times.
Devices, Supplies & Inventory
  • Own readiness of all medical devices in the practice — alert the operations team immediately of any issues.
  • Ensure all medical supplies, products, and devices are fully functioning and available for upcoming treatments.
  • Manage inventory for products and medical supplies: work with the operations team on ordering, attend weekly inventory checks, and perform daily spot checks.
Practice Support
  • Complete daily tasks and provide a daily email update at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with retail operations, front desk responsibilities, or client communications as needed.
Who You Are
  • 1+ year of patient care experience.
  • Experience taking patient medical history and using EMR technology a plus.
  • Phlebotomy experience a plus.
  • Previous dermatology or aesthetics experience a plus.
  • A strong communicator, written and verbal, with the interpersonal warmth to make clients feel comfortable.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying attentive to clients.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Benefits & Perks

We invest in our team with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, your future, and your life outside of work:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Wellhub membership (fitness, wellness, and mindfulness access)
  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Commuter and Parking benefits

Equal Opportunity

JECT is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
