Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. This role involves providing prompt medical attention, performing clinical assessments, and delivering care in line with critical care transport protocols. The ideal candidate will be energetic, capable of working in high-pressure environments, and passionate about patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond quickly to emergency calls and provide high-quality medical care

  • Perform physical examinations and assessments to determine patient needs

  • Administer emergency medical treatment in pre-hospital settings

  • Transport patients to medical facilities while maintaining ongoing care

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams

  • Ensure equipment and supplies are clean, functional, and stocked

Primary Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency protocols

  • Ability to assess patient needs effectively under pressure

  • Physical stamina required for emergency response duties

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures

  • Experience with musculoskeletal disorder management and ergonomics

  • Teaching certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED

  • Proficiency in digital record-keeping and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in industrial wellness programs or trauma centers

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) provider

  • Licensure: Must possess one of the following:

    • Current valid EMT or Paramedic certification from the Department of Health or NREMT

    • Six months of job experience within the last year in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician

    • Current active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or equivalent state certification)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is a plus
