Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Media Manager serves as the primary internal marketing liaison for eegee's, ensuring brand consistency and effective collaboration between restaurant operations, leadership, and the company's external marketing partners. This role supports eegee's social media presence, local store marketing initiatives, and community engagement efforts while providing strategic oversight of the Sweet Ride food truck program. The Media Manager partners with the company's marketing agency to coordinate marketing priorities, support campaign execution, and ensure initiatives are effectively brought to life at the restaurant level. This role plays a key part in strengthening brand awareness, enhancing guest engagement, and protecting the eegee's brand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage eegee's social media strategy, content creation, engagement, and performance across all digital platforms.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the company's marketing agency, coordinating campaigns, creative assets, and marketing priorities.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the Sweet Ride program, partnering with the Sweet Ride Coordinator to ensure events align with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Partner with Operations and restaurant leadership to execute local store marketing initiatives, community partnerships, and promotional events.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, campaigns, and guest-facing communications.
  • Monitor marketing performance and provide data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, brand awareness, and business results.
  • Perform other marketing, communications, and brand management responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Strong understanding of brand management, social media platforms, digital marketing, and community engagement strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with external marketing partners, internal leadership, and restaurant operations teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, prioritize competing deadlines, and track progress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the eegee's brand professionally.
  • Ability to evaluate marketing materials and creative assets for brand alignment, accuracy, and operational feasibility.
  • Understanding of social media trends, content performance metrics, and digital engagement best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and guest engagement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2 years of experience in marketing, social media, brand management, communications, community engagement, or related field.
  • Experience managing business social media channels and digital content.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies, vendors, or creative partners preferred.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, promotions, events, or community initiatives.
  • Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to create and review marketing content.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment such as restaurants, retail, hospitality, or consumer brands preferred.
  • Ability to travel between restaurant locations and attend occasional community events.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations, community events, and company meetings.
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support events, activations, or business needs.
