Job Description

The Media and entertainment solution architect (SA), would play key role in understanding the customer/prospects needs, industry trends and is able to provide solutions keeping in consideration patterns, best practices, existing tools, technologies and platforms. The SA translates customer conversations into requirements and then into conceptual architectures and finally into deliverable architectures. The solution architect's process typically involves selecting the most appropriate tools and technology for the problem or situation.
Below are some key criteria/responsibilities of the SA:
Experience in working on application development using "Java/JEE" or "Microsoft Stack" is required
Exposure to modern web UI tools/framework will be highly desirable (Javascript Frameworks, AngularJS, ExtJs, NodeJS, etc.)
Candidate should possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10-15+ years of experience in information technology
Ideal candidate should have a strong background in Media & Entertainment (M&E)
The SA should be able to review, interpret and respond to customers business requirements, needs and wants in the M&E space
Candidate should have sound knowledge in Television, Broadcast and New media streams
Possess the ability to storyboard and discuss new designs and solutions with customers and prospects
Able to structure solution and content to present to new customers and existing clientele
Define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives
Able to understand and discuss industry trends and solutions
Be aware of and ensure alignment between customer expectations internal capabilities that can be leveraged to address customer problems
Provide input to the strategic direction of the media entertainment business unit's investments, assist in the development of new solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
