Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Photographer and Editor. The Lifestyle Show Videographer and Editor operates television or video cameras to record images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots as well as for our lifestyle show segments and commercial spots. This role requires a creative visionary with a strong background in both broadcast and digital production, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, talent, and crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives and clients to understand their brand vision and marketing objectives. Write compelling, targeted scripts that align with client needs. Participate in creative strategy meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment with client goals.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Production Oversight: Coordinate all aspects of production, including location selection, talent, music, and voice-over requirements. Supervise the production process to maintain high quality and ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision.
  • Post-Production: Edit footage, mix audio, and create graphics or animations to produce the final commercial ready for client delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure all productions adhere to industry standards, regulations, and local broadcast/digital requirements.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a producer in broadcast and/or digital commercial production, with a portfolio that demonstrates your previous work.
  • Strong knowledge of the production process from pre-production to post-production.
  • A broad understanding of advertising, marketing, and design principles.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while giving the correct attention to each.
  • Ability to think on your feet and change course at a moment's notice.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling and high production values.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and talent.
  • Proficiency with production tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record, as some travel may be required for commercial shoots and client meetings.
  • Experience in writing, producing, directing, and editing commercials is essential.
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects is essential in order to create, maintain and revise motion graphics and video elements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with local businesses and understanding their marketing needs.
  • Familiarity with broadcast and digital distribution standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
