Role Description The Camera Operator role at Advantage Life and Health is a contract, on-site position based in Greenville, SC. The Camera Operator will set up, operate, and maintain camera equipment for video and TV-style productions, ensuring footage meets technical and creative standards. Daily tasks include framing shots, adjusting focus, collaborating with producers and directors, and coordinating with lighting and audio teams. The Camera Operator will assist with basic equipment troubleshooting, contribute to shot planning, and help ensure smooth production workflows during shoots and recordings.

Qualifications

  • Strong camera operation skills, including proficiency with professional Camera systems and related gear.
  • Experience with Video Production workflows, including planning, shooting, and coordinating with post-production teams.
  • Knowledge of Lighting techniques and ability to work with lighting setups to achieve desired visual results.
  • Familiarity with TV Production environments, live or studio settings, and working within production schedules.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow creative direction while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Ability to work on-site in Greenville, SC, including standing for extended periods and handling equipment safely.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with producers, directors, and crew.
  • Previous experience as a camera operator or related production role; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
