CLASS TITLE: STUDENT WORKER/BROADCAST & MEDIA
REPORTS TO: Director of Public Relations
EXEMPT STATUS: Non- Exempt
APPROVED: September 15, 2022 Order #2022-36
BASIC FUNCTION:
Update and develop social media posts for assigned schools. Promote assigned schools activities and athletics. Introduction to broadcast experiences.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
  • Review Social Media posts and presence for assigned school
  • Update and develop Social Media posts for assigned school
  • Update and develop posts for school athletics and school activities
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Duty to report to work.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Principles and methods of quantity food service preparation, serving and storage.
  • Sanitation and safety practices related to handling, cooking, baking and serving food.
  • Methods of preparing and serving food in large quantities.
  • Methods of adjusting and extending recipes and proper substitutions.
  • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Standard kitchen equipment, utensils and measurements.
  • Health and safety regulations.
  • Basic record-keeping techniques.
  • Basic math and cashiering skills.

ABILITY TO:
  • Operate social media platforms.
  • Ability to create and develop video posts.
