Job Details

Job Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (MD or DO) - required for locum tenens physician roles
  • U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. passport (international travel for air medical transport)
  • Minimum 1 year of physician experience; ICU, critical care, or hospital medicine experience strongly preferred (ICU physician / critical care physician / hospitalist)
  • Flight medicine experience required; military flight medicine or aeromedical background highly desirable
  • Retired military physicians with flight medicine experience are encouraged to apply
  • Must be able to provide CV, license verification, passport, and other credentialing documents promptly
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as a locum tenens flight physician on international Medevac and air medical transport missions
  • Provide ICU-level and hospital-level critical care during flights to a diverse patient population
  • Manage patient care from boarding through disembarkation, ensuring continuity of care and patient safety
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary flight medical teams, flight nurses, and transport crews
  • Maintain strict professionalism and confidentiality during assignments (no alcohol or social media use while on duty)
  • Support the development and readiness of a pool of flight physicians for future Medevac operations
