Job description

The Registered Nurse - Behavioural Health/Restorative Care is accountable to the Clinical Manager and will provide nursing care to the patients in St. Peter's Hospital. The RN will also be an active member of the Health care team and be skilled in caring for patients.

1. Current Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
2. Successful completion of an accredited MLT program
3. Recent experience in Microbiology required within last 5 years; to include proficiency in reading Gram stained smears, recognition of colonial morphology, identification of pathogens and reporting of susceptibility testing results.
4.  Demonstrated knowledge of bio-safety principles.
5. Excellent communication, organizational and problem- solving skills
