Job description

A leading electronic manufacturing and automation company is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Supervisor to oversee production, assembly, and maintenance operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with expertise in electro-mechanical systems, automation, and industrial electronics. The ideal candidate will have experience in control panel assembly, PCB soldering, cable and wire harness fabrication, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the assembly of conveyors, control panels, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for production and equipment issues, implementing corrective actions.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and enhance system performance.
  • Train and mentor technicians on soldering techniques, automation equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve manufacturability and product quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in electronic manufacturing, automation, or industrial assembly, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in control panel wiring, PCB soldering, and cable/wire harness assembly.
    • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, automation equipment, and industrial electronics.
    • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, robotics, and automated manufacturing systems.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly blueprints.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven experience diagnosing and resolving complex manufacturing issues.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
