Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team at our family-run hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Conducting basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and sheetrock work.
Performing minor carpentry tasks such as replacing door handles, repairing furniture, etc.
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, light bulbs, and batteries.
Maintaining and repairing pool and spa equipment.
Conducting regular inspections of the property to identify any potential hazards or issues.
Performing painting and floor work, such as laying tile, as needed.
Requirements:
Knowledge of basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and sheetrock work.
Minor carpentry skills preferred.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair.
Previous experience in maintenance or a related field would be advantageous.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Hours:
Pay rates based on experience can range from $9-$15/hr.
Part-Time Help 25-35 hours per week.
