Title: Adjunct Professor-CMEDepartment:Assistant to ChairReports To:Assistant to ChairPosition Summary:The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering has an ongoing need for Adjunct Professors to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Engineering
Essential Functions:Develop and deliver lectures, prepare and grade assignments, design laboratory experiments (if needed), and assess student learning.
Learn and use an online course management system - Canvas.
Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
Ph.D. degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering or related field such as Biomedical, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering
Compensation:
$2668 per contact hour
At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
