  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to emergency calls when needed

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in drug testing as required by company policy

 What You'll Do

As a Plumber's Apprentice, your primary function will be to assist plumbers and service technicians with the installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of plumbing systems and equipment.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance
  • Cleaning drains, sewer lines, toilets, sinks, manholes, and lift stations
  • Digging trenches and ditches
  • Mixing and pouring concrete
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting tools, materials, and equipment
  • Entering confined spaces when required and properly trained
  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Retrieving parts and materials from suppliers and inventory
  • Cleaning and organizing work areas at the end of each job
  • Assisting with shop operations, deliveries, maintenance, and general housekeeping
  • Reporting customer concerns, jobsite issues, and safety concerns to supervisors
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support field and shop operations


Working Conditions

Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and may include crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, commercial facilities, construction sites, mechanical rooms, and other physically demanding environments. Employees may be exposed to dust, chemicals, sewage, moving machinery, vibration, and varying temperatures.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
  • Sufficient vision, hearing, and depth perception to perform job duties safely
