Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted statewide provider of skilled trade construction services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and 24/7 emergency service needs for our clients.


We are seeking a Scissor Lift Mechanic to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety.


Schedule

  • Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain scissor lifts to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various types of equipment, including air compressors, trailers, forklift and passenger vehicles
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issue accurately
  • Maintain and communicate detailed records of repair, equipment status and parts needed
  • Practice compliance with safety standards and company policies for all repairs
  • Work with team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance schedules
  • Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as an equipment mechanic or similar role
  • Relevant education may be substituted for work experience
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background check
  • Proficient in English communication, with the ability to write reports and emails
  • Ability to work in accordance with safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies
