Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Test & Evaluation Engineers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in New Orleans, LA.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Experience with test instrumentation and/or methods.

Experience working in a test laboratory environment

Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment

Experience conducting verification, test, and/or data analysis


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting satellite bus architecture, integration, and verification activities Providing electrical subsystem engineering support, including performance analysis and issue resolution Assisting with interface definition and compatibility assessments between various subsystems Supporting system-level troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and test readiness Ensuring compliance with program requirements, mission performance objectives, and customer expectations Test phase completions Key capability expertise Satellite bus systems engineering and integration Spacecraft electrical and mechanical interface knowledge Non-bus subsystem design, analysis, and test support Systems verification, validation, and troubleshooting


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Space systems (i.e. satellites) Experience operating and calibrating bench/lab test equipment as well as measurement and power devices Experience with electrical systems and/or RF subsystems Strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills Strong desire and ability to naturally follow, promote, and uphold company values & behaviors Excellent process and technical drive to sustain the effectiveness of lean test operations


REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.


WORK HOURS:

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Hourly pay rate is $58.34-$81.69.
