Summary

Assists with various maintenance responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspects and tests 20- and 40-foot mechanical reefers and gen-sets. - Performs complete preventive maintenance on mechanical reefers and gen-sets. - Maintains accurate records of work performed. - Performs corrective maintenance on loaded casualty units including using vacuum pump/recovery machine. - Performs soldering and torch usage repairs. Ability to solder copper to brass/stainless. Leak check all components, evacuate, R&R drier and charge unit. Diagnose faulty compressors. Performs basic preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment including but not limited to: chassis underslung, clip-on generators as well as containerized / portable generators. Performs major and minor repairs on engines and generators including diagnosing oil leaks. Diagnose field, safety switch issue repairs. Perform Transfresh Operations.
