Land O’Frost is seeking a Manager, Corporate Regulatory Affairs to lead regulatory compliance and risk management efforts across our organization. This role will serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations while supporting innovation, product launches, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact role responsible for guiding regulatory strategy, managing labeling and compliance processes, and acting as a critical liaison during regulatory events and communications.

How YOU will Contribute
Regulatory Leadership & Risk Management
- Provide regulatory guidance for new product launches and existing products across Land O’Frost, customers, and co-manufacturers
- Lead crisis management oversight, including mitigation planning and execution
- Serve as regulatory liaison for withdrawals and recalls, ensuring proper documentation and verification of corrective actions
- Identify and manage product risks in collaboration with Food Safety, including root cause analysis and mitigation strategies
FSIS & Labeling Compliance
- Direct and oversee FSIS regulatory compliance for labeling, raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and specifications
- Manage USDA label submissions, including generic approvals
- Review and approve label graphics and packaging artwork
- Deliver training on label review and approval processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Food Safety teams on product launches, process changes, and OGSM initiatives
- Serve as the Regulatory representative on co-manufacturer projects
- Conduct regulatory audits at vendor and co-manufacturer facilities to ensure compliance
Regulatory Expertise & Communication
- Communicate new and changing regulatory requirements to internal teams, including training as needed
- Respond to regulatory and compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct regulatory research to ensure best practices and continuous improvement
About YOU
- 5+ years of USDA regulatory experience preferred
- Food manufacturing experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Agriculture, or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- HACCP Certification required
- Strong knowledge of USDA meat and poultry regulations
- Expertise in USDA food labeling requirements
- Proven ability to manage risk, audits, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
