The MDS Manager will serve as an educator, liaison, and advocate to maximize resident care and reimbursement while maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.

24 days of paid time off (PTO) in the first year.
Long-term disability and life insurance options.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Current New York State RN license (required).
Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) certification (preferred).
Previous experience in long-term care (LTC) or geriatric settings (required).
Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care, including PPS.

Proficiency with computer systems and office applications.
Ability to plan, organize, and implement programs, policies, and procedures to support quality care and compliance.
Why is This a Great Opportunity
This long-term care facility in northern New York provides both assisted living and skilled nursing services within one community. It features over a hundred assisted living beds, including enhanced options that allow residents to remain in place as their needs increase, along with close to two hundred skilled nursing beds offering 24-hour care, physician oversight, and therapy services. The environment is designed to feel home-like, with a focus on comfort, privacy, flexible daily routines, and open visitation. Costs are covered through a combination of Medicaid and private pay, depending on the level of care. While the continuum of services supports smoother transitions as residents' needs change, quality ratings highlight areas for improvement in inspections and outcomes.
