About the Agency: The Mississippi Department of Transportation is responsible for providing a safe intermodal transportation network that is planned, designed, constructed, and maintained in an effective, cost-efficient, and environmentally sensitive manner. About the Position: Second-level Accounting vocational position located in the Financial Management Division, responsible for completing standard accounting tasks using established processes, procedures, and regulations. Employees at this level perform routine analysis and research, resolve problems, and provide financial information. Job tasks may include producing routine financial reports using established formats and precedents.
