Candidates must live within one hour commute of Merchants Distributors (MDI).

Drivers are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, assisting with the unloading of trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Deliveries cover PA, OH, MD, KY, WV, VA, TN, NC, SC, GA, FL


  • Be at least 21 years of age with an active CDL class A.
  • Must have a clean MVR with no more than 2 tickets and no at fault DOT accidents in the previous 3 years.
  • Required 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience pulling 45-53 ft. trailers or have graduated from an accredited Class A CDL truck driving school
  • Ability to drive 10 speed manuals preferred.
  • Must pass all necessary testing for employment (MVR, criminal, drug, dot physical, job simulation test)

Other qualifications: 

Must have basic computer skills, excellent communication skills, ability to interact well with supervision and co-workers, a self-starter with good organizational skills, and maintain a professional appearance.  

Drivers are required to safely assist in unloading pallets using a pallet jack (manual and electric) also at some locations drivers may handle casesup to 100lbs.  

Must be able to work an open schedule up to 6 days a week and Holidays.

Must be able to complete a proper pre trip inspection and pass an onsite backing test.
