Urologist (MD/DO) - Dothan, AL
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: 4-day work week (1 OR day, 3 clinic days)
Call: 1:6 weekend rotation
Signing Bonus: $100,000
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Urologist (MD/DO) to join a well-established practice in Dothan, Alabama. The group includes five physicians and two NPs, offering advanced outpatient and inpatient urology services with access to robotic-assisted surgery.
Position Summary
The incoming physician will provide comprehensive urologic care, including diagnostic procedures, testosterone therapy, prostate biopsies, and complex urodynamics. Hospital-based services include da Vinci prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, ESWL, reconstruction, and vasectomy reversals.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Active Alabama medical license (or eligibility).
  • DEA certification.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Urology.
  • Strong surgical skills; robotic experience preferred.
Practice & Workflow
  • 4-day work week with balanced OR and clinic time.
  • Supportive team of 5 physicians and 2 NPs.
  • Two clinic sites plus hospital-based surgical care.
