Job description

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking multiple tenured/tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professors to lead excellence in clinical care, investigation, and performance.
As the nation's leading cancer center, MD Anderson is home to many of the top cancer clinicians and clinical investigators in a variety of fields. The institution has established infrastructure and programs that fuel innovation and breakthroughs in support of its mission to eliminate cancer. Clinical faculty at MD Anderson are empowered to advance cancer-related science and medicine, and standards of care in cancer prevention, treatment, and diagnosis.
Successful candidates are expected to:
  • Deliver excellent, comprehensive and compassionate care for patients
  • Participate in focused clinical and translational research
  • Develop academic and scholarly programs and projects to advance the care of patients with cancer
  • Foster interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to clinical care, research, education and prevention/cancer control
  • Educating medical students, residents, fellows and other clinical providers

Interested applicants must have a doctorate-level degree appropriate to the applicable department's mission, licensed to practice in the state of Texas, and board certified (or obtain board certification within the departmental timeline). Appropriate post medical doctoral training required per discipline. Refer to our departments and divisions for additional information about departments and programs.
