McLeod Digestive Health Center Florence is seeking a Nurse Practitioner!

Qualifications/Training:

  • Minimum of a master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner required.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:

  • A valid SC RN License as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) verified by the LLR.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by approved accrediting agency.
  • Prescriptive privileges or are eligible to apply.

Job Description:

  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Assesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
  3. Records physical findings, and formulates plans and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  4. Plans, implements, and coordinates care to meet the holistic age specific needs of patients.
  5. Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
  6. Demonstrates professionalism and integrity.
  7. Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
  8. Discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.

McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area.
