Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience for a 13-week day shift contract in Lawton, OK, supporting a full-service cardiac and peripheral cath lab in Southwest Oklahoma.

Details
  • Full-service cath lab staffed by Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon providing complete cardiac and peripheral vascular services
  • Procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostic and stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
  • Equipment includes two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms, Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
  • EMR/systems in use: McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • On-call rotation split among 4 staff, typically 2 days per week with an off week; call covers evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • No weekend requirements outside of on-call rotation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • ACLS (AHA) certification preferred
  • RCIS or applicable compact license required if applicable
  • Proficiency with cath lab devices including IVUS, OCT, and coronary and peripheral atherectomy equipment
  • Skills checklist current within 1 year and pertinent to the specialty required for consideration
  • Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Technologist will rotate between scrubbing and circulating roles, including operating X-ray equipment
  • Additional responsibilities include assisting with pre and post procedure areas, patient transport, inventory management, and billing support
  • Recent travel experience is preferred
  • Local candidates will be considered
  • No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
