The Logistics Lead (B3) plays a critical role in supporting outbound logistics operations by coordinating courier activities, resolving delivery issues, and serving as a primary point of contact for retail customers and internal partners. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant shipment execution in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, the Logistics Lead operates as an advanced individual contributor, providing daytoday coordination, problemsolving, and peer support without formal peoplemanagement authority. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently resolve complex logistics issues.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer logistics issues related to outbound shipments and deliveries
  • Track and monitor national and local courier activity to ensure ontime pickup and delivery
  • Investigate and resolve courierrelated issues, including delays, missed pickups, and delivery exceptions
  • Respond to customer, store, and internal inquiries regarding shipping status and delivery concerns
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, couriers, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with carriers such as FedEx and UPS, escalating issues to account managers as needed
  • Escalate shipping issues to management and customers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Independently troubleshoot logistics problems and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision
  • Support pharmacy operations as needed to ensure continuity of service
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and logistics methods of procedure (MOPs)
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to shipping and courier SOPs
  • Assist with investigations related to lost or missing packages
  • Audit packages prior to courier handoff to ensure accuracy and reduce reshipments
  • Coordinate ordering and distribution of "returntosender" packaging supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and report shortages
  • Complete monthly invoicing, delivery performance, and SLA reports
  • Provide peer support to other locations or functional areas as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company values
Basic Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or distribution operations

  • Familiarity with shipping or logistics systems (e.g., GlobalShip, TMS platforms)

  • Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions
  • Experience training peers or providing leadlevel support
