Job description

Overview

Join our dynamic hospital outpatient pharmacy team, a high-volume operation dispensing 600-800 prescriptions daily across retail and specialty services. We proudly serve a diverse patient population—including charity care, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and employee patients—with our 340B program enabling us to provide medications to a high percentage of charity patients. Our innovative Meds to Beds program delivers prescriptions directly to patients before discharge.

Our team includes skilled pharmacists—many providing Medication Therapy Management services in clinics—along with level I, II, and III technicians, analysts and business coordinator. As a teaching institution affiliated with the UF College of Pharmacy, our pharmacists serve as preceptors for pharmacy students and residents, with learners rotating through year-round.

As a Pharmacy Analyst, you will provide critical support for pharmacy technology, data analysis, and daily operations including financial reconciliation, inventory management, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot pharmacy technology (Parata Max, Omnicell, WOW carts)
  • Complete and verify patient, financial, and statistical data for using multiple systems (Epic Hyperdrive, Epic Willow Ambulatory, McKesson, QuickSortRx, Absolute AR)
  • Support 340B optimization including qualification, reporting and monthly audits
  • Manage daily McKesson ordering and inventory monitoring
  • Reconcile charges, manage cash/check deposits, and support fiscal recordkeeping
  • Generate and review routine billing, controlled substance, and drug reports
  • Manage bi-weekly technician scheduling and Kronos payroll entries
  • Participate in staff interviews, training, and CQI activities
