Job Description
We're looking for Front Office Leads who are excited to support clinic operations and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced healthcare setting. In this role, you'll coordinate front office activities, support leadership, optimize patient flow, and help guide staff performance across the clinic team.
You'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience while solving daily challenges in a collaborative environment. We value strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills-and we're excited to welcome teammates who bring these strengths to our team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to the Front Office Supervisor and Clinical Manager
  • Guide and motivate front office staff for optimal performance
  • Ensure efficient patient flow through planning and teamwork
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with clinic, office, contract, and volunteer staff
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Support patients with access barriers related to income, language, or culture
  • Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all relevant hospital regulations
Collaborative Teamwork
This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in patient access at an outpatient clinic or medical office
  • Strong communication skills-verbal and written
  • Experience with registration, scheduling, cashiering, and basic coding
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and cash payment policies
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Preferred: Experience with eMDs and McKesson Paragon
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 months of hire)
  • Ability to read, write, and manage complex correspondence
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
